The Children's Shelf
Come on in, kids, teens, and parents, and enjoy a story intended just for you! Most of these stories are based at least partially after my own real-life experiences and as such, may not be appropriate for kids under 10. For older kids, teens, and parents, I hope you enjoy and learn something from these tales of what it's like to be just a little bit different from the group...

Be Careful, Words Can Hurt - A mother comforts her child after she's insulted by bullies.
I Dance Alone - A short story of a girl who dances alone in the moonlight; based after a real boy-girl party I attended in fourth grade.
The New Girl - A girl in fourth grade makes friends with a newcomer who isn't all she seems.
The Perfect Christmas Tree - Vicki and her dad go out in search of the perfect tree. Done in letter-format.
Stories for Teens (13 and Up)
Boys - Another short story, this one for ages 13 and up. You don't have to date the moment you become a teenager.
